The aim of this award is to provide Pembroke graduate students with funding for the purpose of attending conferences, making trips, or carrying out any other ex-situ projects deemed useful to furthering their research. The Committee has agreed that funding be allocated freely across the academic disciplines, matching the entirety of financial requests or part thereof, to the benefit of as many students as possible.
In order to ensure fairness during the seleciton process, the MCR Committee has agreed that applicants for this award be assessed by an independent panel similar to the one used for the Dean of Graduates award, consisting of the Academic Director, Fellows, and relevant members of staff.
