The majority of our MCR members come to Oxford from abroad and, on account of this wide international draw, many of our Freshers are coming to Oxford, indeed to the United Kingdom, for the first time. We understand that this can be a confusing and even daunting transition, so these pages have been designed to prepare you for your arrival and to give you the necessary information and contacts to help you start your life at Pembroke within the graduate community.
While we have tried to make these pages as comprehensive as possible, there may be additional questions or concerns that you may have. Both the College and the MCR Committee are available and are eager to help you. Your first point of contact with the College is the Graduate Secretary, Caroline Barnes, who can assist you with administrative queries. Within the MCR there is a network of MCR Committee Members and Officers, who can advise you in all aspects of life at Pembroke--from the practical side of accommodation and dining, to the social aspects of getting involved in the community.
