Matriculation will be explained fully when you arrive. Essentially you should arrive at least one week before term begins (see the fresher's week program in 'activities, events and news' on this site), and all will be explained. It is an impressive ceremony that takes place in the Sheldonian Theatre and formally admits you into Oxford. You will need sub-fusc (gown, mortar board etc) which either Shephard and Woodward or Ede and Ravenscroft Oxford clothiers can explain to you and help you order.
